We will introduce you to the history of yoga, you will learn more about some of the great yoga masters, we will dive into the philosophy and aim of yoga and we will briefly discuss the sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita.
We will introduce you to the chakras, the human energy field and the five koshas. We will discuss the four paths of yoga and the eight limbs of yoga. We will talk about karma and reincarnation, the gunas, the power of mantras and kirtans.
You will be introduced to the science of Ayurveda and you will receive a solid foundation on the pillars of Ayurveda and how this s connected to yoga.
You can see Ayurveda and yoga as two inseparable sisters. Ayurveda, which means “science of life” in Sanskrit, is based on the premise that everything in the universe, including the human body, is comprised of five basic elements: earth, wind, fire, water and space.

Each of these elements is present in our bodies in various proportions in what are called doshas. Keeping those doshas balanced through diet, yoga, herbs, massage and meditation is the basis of Ayurveda.
You will learn more about doshas and Ayurveda en general.You will understand how the three doshas are formed.
Through this understanding you will discover your own natural born constitution and your current imbalance this will help your to bring more balance into your life.
We will discuss how to integrate yoga in your life and how to live a yogi.
We will cover a yogic diet as well and our chefs will inspire you with some really nice and vegan food.
