Your breath is one of the most powerful healing resources that you have readily available to you.

This short breathsensing meditation was part of my Yin Yoga & Mindfulness Class.
Understanding the role your breath plays in your daily life, as well as the way you breathe, can directly assist you dealing with stress, worry and anxiety.

Breathsensing teaches you to pay attention to how you’re breathing.

Your ability to pay attention to your breathing does the following:

* Enhances your ability to sense, welcome, and respond to internal and external information.
* Helps you to take the actions that keep you feeling in harmony with yourself and life.
*Increases your physical and mental relaxation.
* Soothes and strengthens your central nervous system.
* Stimulates your body’s natural healing forces.

This meditation is based on one of the 10 tools of iRest Yoga Nidra created by Richard C. Miller.
